Honda to Set Up Two-Wheeler Plant in Gujarat

Honda motorbike and Scooter Republic of India can invest Rs. 1,100 large integer to line up a two-wheeler plant at Vithalapur village in Ahmedabad district and signed a 'state support agreement' with the Gujarat Government for the aim yesterday. The treaty was signed by the extra cabinet minister, State Industries Department, D J Pandian, and President-cum-CEO of Honda motorbike and Scooter Republic of India (HMSI), Keita Muramutsu within the presence of Chief Minister Anandi Patel in Gandhinagar.

"HMSI can invest Rs. 1,100 large integer to line up their plant at Vithalapur in Mandal taluka of the district, around a hundred and ten kilometre from here, which can offer employment to over a pair of,000 native youths. HMSI has planned to churn out one.02 million two-wheelers from this facility," an officer announcement aforementioned.

Welcoming the HMSI move, Patel aforementioned such plants can contribute towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi's formidable 'Make in India' campaign.
